I absolutely love the Made from Earth Peppermint conditioner.

So far its my favorite one from the Made from Earth skincare line (though I have others on order to try). Made from Earth is completely natural - unlike other brands who may claim to be natural and/or organic (but somehow still manage to sneak the icky chemicals in) - so that alone makes this an awesome product for someone who's concerned about what their beauty products are made from. And on top of that, after only a few days of consistent use, my hair is softer and silkier than with any other product I've tried. The smell is a little strong, but fades to a nice subdued peppermint scent after the hair dries.

I've gotten many compliments on my hair since I've gone back to using Made from Earth products. I've spent a few years trying out all the "natural" brands to find the perfect line for my hip length hair...again, of all those supposedly natural brands -Made from Earth seems to be the only one that really is purely natural, and on top of that, has been the best for my hair.

It's extremely well worth the price!

I received a gift package of Made from Earth (organic skincare) products for xmas......In the package was a "Peppermint Herbal Conditioner".

I have color treated hair that is washed daily......after using the Tea Tree shampoo and the Peppermint Conditioner conditioner today, I was so amazed on how my hair looked and felt.....My hair was shiny, smelled good and the conditioner made my hair a breeze to comb thru...the conditioner was not heavy and weigh my hair down.....

My husband noticed the difference right away.....I am very pleased with the Made from Earth bath products and will continue to use them.....My hair looks great and feels healthy.......

When I find a cleanser to be excellent, I tend to remain loyal to it - especially since I am a healthy chemical free person. I may try others, but always return to the one that continues to be excellence year after year. Despite more costly cleansers - the Made from Earth Green Tea Toxin Cleanser has been my cleanser of choice for the last 5 years.

My skin and eyes are extremely sensitive, so I am very cautious with the type of cleanser I choose. This one was recommended by a dermatologist and I'm very grateful for the suggestion. It is extremely gentle, fragrance free and can be used directly on my eyes. I apply it onto my dry face, rub it all over, then rinse it off and pat my face dry. I gave a bottle to my sister and she was impressed, too. In all honesty, I don't know if she's returned to using the chanel cleanser, but I am as faithful to the Made from Earth skincare line. If you too have sensitive skin, try the Green Tea Toxin Cleanser for a nice treat - you wont be disappointed.
Also - dont buy at your local Whole Foods. .They are usually overprice their products..its worth it to buy online for the discounts..even with the shipping expense it is cheaper...

I was told that the chemicals in shampoo can exacerbate male pattern baldness. I've started using an organic alternative and will try the herbal solution recommended here.

Okay, I tried the facial cleanser and it works. Not sure about the hair conditioner. Any other recipes for organic hair products to make at home?
My grandmother used flat beer and something else.

You can also use oatmeal for cleanisng. Its very soothing for irritated skin.
Aloe vera is another natural substance which is invaluable as a moisturising gel.

Jennifer,
I believe my mother used a similar natural hair conditioner. I cant recall the exact ingredients but the lavender and jasmine sounds right.
